CONCORDE

Concorde The name Concorde was chosen as, in both French and English (as "Concord"), the word means agreement. The plane was to be called Concorde in both France and Britain.  Concorde is a British-French turbojet-powered supersonic passenger jet airliner that was operated until 2003.   It had a maximum speed over twice the speed of sound at Mach 2.04 (1,354 mph or 2,180 km/h at cruise altitude), with seating for 92 to 128 passengers.    The aircraft was used mainly by wealthy passengers who could afford to pay a high price in exchange for Concorde's speed and luxury service. ATA Chapters

Air transportation Association (ATA) published a numbering system to learn and understand the technical features of an Aircraft The standard numbering system was published by the   Air Transport Association   on June 1, 1956.  While the   ATA 100   numbering system has been superseded, it continued to be widely used until it went out of date back in 2015, especially in documentation for   general aviation   aircraft, on aircraft Fault Messages (for Post Flight Troubleshooting and Repair) and the electronic and printed manuals. This commonality permits greater ease of learning and understanding for   pilots ,   aircraft maintenance technicians , and   engineers .
